I was walking back after shooting the Chinese New Year parade when I saw this Lady and a kid just walking slowly down the alleyway hand in hand. Unfortunately I had put away my camera and it took me some time to get it out. Caught the scene just before they disappeared through a doorway. It actually ended up being my personal favorite shot of the day.
There's this beautiful curving pier that juts into Lake Michigan at Montrose Harbor. With a wide angle lens it makes for some really cool photo ops.
This has already been a year of exploration in Chicago. Went out for the first time onto Montrose Harbor before the sun came up. The city looked ethereal from there
