A gorgeous haze hung in the air mixing with the ocean spray and the sunlight rendering everything golden.
On the Beach
The crowds thin on Santa Monica beach as the sun goes down, leaving behind tire tracks and full trash cans.
Now are those floors really parallel?
Step into the Circle
An accidental photo. I was trying to take a photo of the cobblestones in Pershing Square when this gentleman decided to step in which really made the photo.
LA Reflections - Sky Blue Sky
Decked in blue and glowing from the afternoon sun, is that a glass ship with steel portholes?
LA Reflections - Trapped
Behind the grid flexing rippling glass and steel trying to break through
LA Reflections - Mystic Rhythms
Invisible fingers tap out syncopated rhythms causing ripples in the glass fabric.
LA Reflections - The Dark Side
The reflecting light from building across the street tries in vain to illuminate the dark side.
The late afternoon light hits the top of the building so perfectly lighting it up.
Santa Monica Sunset
Golden sun, swaying palms, soaring kites, beach volleyball... It's pure bliss on the beach.
Santa Monica Pier
I love how piers have become tourist attractions with ferris wheels and roller-coasters. Something about being on solid ground over the churning waves is exhilarating.
Took this from the Santa Monica Pier. The receding waves were making beautiful patterns and reflecting the golden light.
